Pre-incident planning is an important tool for emergency response, but for many fire departments, daily activities simply do not allow sufficient time for this purpose. WCES can develop or upgrade pre-incident plans and/or build a pre-incident planning program tailored to your department.
WCES can provide assistance to fire departments in maintaining the appropriate frequency of inspections suggested by regulatory bodies. We can perform the inspections or train your staff members to do so. We can further assist you in developing a schedule of inspections that will allow you to maintain the appropriate frequency.
WCES can also assist the private sector in developing and preparing fire safety plans in accordance with the National Fire Code of Canada or provincial fire codes.
