Cyber Security: How to Protect Your Business and You
With the ever evolving landscape of cybercrime, our identities are constantly at risk of
being stolen and used for nefarious purposes. Identity thieves don't care that you have
worked so hard to get to where you are in your life...in one fail swoop, they can take it
all away! They want to make easy, fast money and they don't care who they hurt along
the way.
Unfortunately, it is you, the victim, who has to prove your own innocence if caught up in
one of these crimes...sure it was not caused by you physically...but your identity! It's not
fair but unfortunately it is the way of the world now as we know it.
Do you know what to watch for? Do you know how to protect yourself, your family and
your business? Do you know what to do if it happens to you?
Our special guest speaker Carol Ritchie from Legal Shield will walk you through various
types of identity theft scenarios, as well as, share real life stories from victims and their
experiences to shed light on what is really happening out there.
If you become a victim of these "professional criminals", you will need "professionals" to
assist you. Carol share how you can protect yourself both legally and online with
licensed private investigators and lawyers who are there to help you through the tangled
web of "where, how and why" you were exposed to the crime and to help clean up the
mess you would be left with.
